I was enjoying the many catchy tunes on your show of Tuesday November 6. The one that particularly caught my attention was a mellow banjo song about potatoes (about the second to last song before the interview with the once). Could you tell me what the title of that song is and who performed it?

So glad you enjoyed the show! Thanks for listening. The song you are thinking of is “Soon As We All Cook The Sweet Potatoes” by Pete Seeger. It comes off a great Smithsonian recording of Pete Seeger’s songs for children called “Song and Playtime.” You can find out more about that recording here.
